EGIPA (Egypt GIS Information Portal Application) is the most detailed mapping application of New Cairo available today. GIS Data is supplied by Digital Egypt, the leading supplier of GIS and Mapping Data in the region. The application allows users a multitude of mapping functionality, including address search, find any type of store, add any point to a list of favorites, get directions. The latest release of EGIPA incorporates Augmented Reality. Users can point their phones towards any building or landmark and the application displays available information. The application is multi-lingual, colors are customizable and the view can be toggled between map and satellite. Future releases will include geofencing reminders, and the app will cover address searches for all of Egypt.
